Liveable Futures and Earth Liberation: facing the extinction challenge

The Liveable Futures Initiative and Alliance aims at addressing the core existential threats to a liveable future on Earth for all life forms including humans. The LFA claims the need for a global emergency that challenges all significant aspects of the dusruptive modes of human living that are causing a global crises that is described by United Nations as an imminent existential and extinction threat for humanity and for life on Earth.

The LFI proposes a step beyond usual approaches in acknowledging the elephant in the room that is generally ignored: ourselves and our way of living,  overpopulation, occupation of the earth and exploitation of its life forms and resources: taboos that remain unchallenged even in most, if not all, social movements due to the prevailing human supremacism.

The LFI proposes both an intensified critique and creation of alternatives, including mobilisation and legal action to force states, corporations and other actors, campaigns for awareness raising in larger population, creation of Communities for civil disobedience and development and dissemination of alternative ways of living. The demand to institutions goes along the personal change.

The LFI promotes the creation of a Supreme Court of Terrestral Rights defending all life forms and ecosystems, and the presentation of a European and International lawsuit against states for inaction, and active promotion, of the extinction crises.

The LFI proposes a transversal alliance of ecologists, animalists, lgtbiqa+, indigenous, disabilities and other movements in contesting the dominant modes of living and mobilising alternatives.

The LFI proposes a transdisciplinary framework accross activism and the social, philosophy and critical thinking, the sciences and technics, creativity and the arts, for undoing human supremacy towards a metahuman future.

The LFI is promoted by the Metabody Institute for Liveable Futures and Reverso Transdisciplinary Association.

There is no human health and life without  that of the other life forms, like there is no human freedom and dignity without that of the other life forms.
